“SHIPWRECKED” Those who like strong actionful screen offerings, will be vastly interested in the presentation at the Regent Theatre to-night of the latest Metro- ! politan picture production, “Shipwrecked,” in which Seena Owen, popular star, and Joseph Schildkraut, have the featured roles. The photoplay is packed with thrilling scene*, many of which were photographed .aboard a sailing-ship during a. severe storm at sea. The story is dramatic and finely developed by Joseph Henaberry, the director. The supporting cast includes Matthew Betz, Clarence Burton, Laska Winter and Lionel Belraore. Laura La Plante, the most flashing blonde on the screen, shared starring honours with James Kirkwood m “Butterflies in the Rain,” the Edward Sloman production, which is also being shown at the Regent Theatre, Epsom, to-night. In the prominent supporting cast are Dorothy Cummings, Ruby Lafayette, Edwards Davis, Grace Gordon, Robert Ober, Clarence Thompson and Dorothy Stokes. No motion picture has ever carried such a tremendous story as * Mons.’' It is a simple unembroidered story of heroism and fortitude. Its very simplicity makes it great. “Mons” is a picture that should be seen by every man, woman and child of British stock. Master pictures will release four Betty Compson starring productions. The first “The Ladybird” is already completed. The supporting cast includes Malcolm McGregor, Ruth Stonehouse, John Miljan, Sheldon Lewis and Hank Mann.
