TAUMARUNUI CRICKET
CLUB’S ANNUAL MEETING Mr. R. Winger presided over the annual general meeting of the Tnumaranui Cricket Club, a large gathering of members being present. The following officers were elected: President, Mr. E. Edwards; vice-presidents, Messrs. F. Smith and W. Hughes, and Dr. E .H. Howard; committee, Messrs. J. Miles. F. H. Miller, C. Halliday, Sjrmes, R. Bake well and R. W. Thomas; secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. E. M. Kerr; delegates to King Country Union, Messrs. Miller and Halliday. The following new members were elected: Messrs. A. G. Moonie, F. H. Miller, Moffitt, Rutherford, senr., Rutherford, junr., Lloyd, R. Bakewell. Chote, Symes, Groom, Smith, Wells, Webb and F. W. Fraser. It was decided to invite those interested in cricket to become honorary members at a subscription of ss.
Letters lire to be sent to Messrs. N. Winger (Hamilton) and H. H. Gunthorp, thanking them for their past services to the club and notifying that tliey had been appointed life members. The first practice match will be held on October 15.
