FORD'S MUSEUM
SHRINES OF AMERICA AREA OF TEN ACRES EXPENDITURE OF A MILLION By Cable.—Press Association. —Copyright Reed. 9.5 a.m. DETROIT, Sunday. Mr. Henry Ford, interviewed, said that he had planned a museum in the environs of Dearborn, to cost £1,000,000. It will cover ten acres, and will be devoted to the historic houses, and inns, which are the birthplaces of famous people. These structures will be taken apart and reassembled inside the museum. Thus the shrines of every State in the Union would be collected under one roof, obviating thousands of miles of travel and unnecessary expense to those interested in antiquities. Mr. Ford already has a vast uncatalogued collection of unique American relics, including bullet-moulds, gristmills, hoopskirts, locomotives and a collection of threshing machines and vehicles of transportation.—A. and N.Z.
