PLUNKET SOCIETY BABY CARNIVAL
The public meeting convened by Mrs. Raymond Jones at Kihikihi to consider joining in the Plunket Society’s baby carnival was well attended. Those present were of opinion that they should take part in helping in the society’s present effort to raise funds. A carnival commttee was elected, with Mrs. Jones as chairman. Mrs. J. Cl. Wynyard secretary, Mrs. V. Fitzpatrick assistant secretary, and Mesdames Mahoney, C. Wilson Eyre, Bryant, J. McGovern, F. McGovern, Kerr. Osborne, A. S. Wyllie, Cavers, Prendeville, and James, Misses Bryant and Clifford, and Messrs. F. Smith, Riordan, H. Allen, J. Anderson, Fitzpatrick. Osborne, A. S. Wyllie, and J. G. Sutherland as members. Mesdames Lethbridge and Benseman wore appointed conveners for Korakonui and Ngahape respectively.
