THE ATHENIAN CLUB
Another very successful meeting of the Athenian Club was held on Saturday evening. The hall was attractively decorated, the stage being prettily arranged with bowis of lilies and also the racing colours of the host, purple and gold. Novelties were a feature of the evening, squeakers, trumpets, etc., adding to the merriment. The following artists contributed to a very fine programme:—Miss D. Youd, soprano; Miss A. McGruer, soprano; Mrs. Bartley, elocution; Moore Sisters, musical: Stan. Pritchard, baritone: Maxwell WaJ.ker, elocution. The host and hostess for the evening were Mr. and Mrs. Munro.
