HOWICK PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

LADIES’ GUILD AFTERNOON The last soeial afternoon of this session of the Howiek Presbyterian Ladies' Guild took place on Thursday, September 22, when a very enjoyable function was held in the new Uxbridge Hall. The hostesses for the occasion were the Misses MucUll, who dispensed an excellent afternoon tea, which was much appreciated by the gathering. Musical items and competitions helped to pass a very pleasant hour. A stall erected in the hall was laden with an assortment of fancy goods, and good business from this source was reported. The president of the guild, Mrs. Bishop, presided at the gathering, and expressed the thanks of the guild to all the good people who had assisted the work of the church in this way during the winter series of socials
