At the present time the syndicate appeared to hat* a floating licence, and no one could definitely define its territory. The hearing was adjourned sin* die it order to have a flying survey ta-ien. On the question of restraining tv operations of the Mangatu Syndicate the warden stated that it seemed quite « reasonable proposition, but he would hare to communicate with the Minister wh« had granted the licence Several other application for prospecting licences in the Taupo district are reported to be pending.
