London Wool Sales.—Under date September 25 the London office of Dalgety and Co., Ltd., cabled as follows:—“The wool sales continue firm and lately reported rates are fully maintained. ~ The sales close on September 29. English buyers are the largest.” the decision of the Dairy Produce Board to exercise limited control over the expert of dairy produce, an order-in-coun-il has been gazetted prohibiting such export except under license bv the Minis- -r of Agriculture. The conditional prohibition operates from midnight on September 30. Butter and Cheese.—Under date September 23, Wed del and Co., Ltd..
