DALMATIAN REMANDED NEWLY-BORN CHILD’S DEATH (From Our Own Correspondent) KAITAIA, Saturday. Paul Lendich, a Dalmatian, charged at Kaitaia on Friday with having murdered the female infant of Rose Tewhiu, was remanded until next Friday. Lendich was further charged that on o.r about August 23, at Kauri Flat, he concealed the body of a newly-born female child. A charge of having, at Waipapakauri, on September 10, assaulted Bella Tewhiu, was also preferred against accused.
