“LIFE IN THE PUNJAB” A very Interesting lantern lecture was delivered by Rev. J L. Gray, 8.A., in the Presbyterian Hall, Papatoetoe, on Friday night. The Rev. T. H. Roseveare, of Papatoetoe, occupied the chair, and there was a large attendance. During the evening the lecturer kept his hearers interested with his description of the Punjab, in India. its people and their customs. The progress of the lecture was made all rhe more interesting by the exhibition «-f a series of excellent r.ntern slides, depicting the various phases described in the story A collection which realised £lO was taken up. which will be devoted to no Rev. Gray’s industrial work among the outcasts oZ Punjab.
