WAIHI CRICKETERS
PREPARING FOR SEASON The annual meeting of the Waihi Cricket Association was held on Friday night, Mr. H. Manning presiding over a fair attendance. The balance sheet was read and showed the association to be in a satisfactory position. The following officers were elected: Patron, Mr. A. M. Samuels, M.P.; vicepatron. Mr. W. Ellevington; president, Mr. H. Manning; vice-presidents, Messrs. W. W. Rowe, W. M. Wallnut, j. Reid. W. Toy, A. H. V. Morgan and F. V. Clarke; secretary, Mr. F. Raddings. It was decided to become affiliated with the Auckland Cricket Association and to commence the season on Saturday, October 15.
