SATURDAY’S PIGEON FLYING PREMIER CLUB The third race of the Premier Club’s old bird series was flown from Te Kuiti on Saturday, an approximate air-line distance of 104 miles. Results: Mr. H. PONSONBY CLUB The Ponsonby Flying Club flew its first race of t e second old bird series on Saturday from Te Awamutu, an air-line distance of $6 miles. Ten birds competed. Results: Mr. W. COLLINGV/OOD CLUB The CoOingwood Flying Club flew a race from Huntly, an air-line distance of 54 miles. Ten birds flew. Results: Mr. G. Cant’s b p h Bluebell, 846yds per minute, 1; Mr. R. Coulson’s b p c Te Kara, 527- Is, 2: Mr. M. Conway’s r t c Red Lion 111., 783yds. 3. Next week the club will fly a race from Te Awamutu. AVALCN CLUB The Avalon Pigeon Flying Club flew its first race of the second series from Huntly, an air-line distance of 56 miles, under adverse conditions. Five birds competed. Results: Mr. A.
