MAKING A COURT UN-COURT-LIKE
nnO make the Auckland Children’s J- Court as un-court like as possible, alterations have been made in the arrangement of the rooms. Formerly the public and people interested in the cases of the morning congregated in the back of the court, which was separated by only a curtain from the courtroom proper. Now a waitingroom is provided down the passage and the only persons allowed in the court are the officials, the persons directly interested in the particular case, and the Press. Another room has been fitted up for the use of counsel and clients.
