ENGLISH CRACK COLT

TWO-YEAR-OLD’S FINE RECORD CREDIT TO HIS NAME-SAKE The Amateurs’ Handicap at Audenshaw, London, was won by the crack two-year-old colt Call Boy. who paced a 2min 25£sec over the wet track. This splendid young son of Airman has won in Glasgow, London and the North, and is the biggest winning two-year-old of the yea.r. Call Boy is certainly worthy of being named after this year’s Derby winner, the three-year-old son of Hurry On—Comedienne; who was sold by the executors of Call Boy’s late owner-breeder, Mr. Frank Curzon, to Sir H. Mallaby-Deeley', Bart, for the sum of £60,000, who purchased the great colt for the definite purpose of preventing the young horse leaving the country.
