BORIC ACID IN BACON TRAFFIC BREACHES {From Our Own Correspondent) THAMES. To-day. At the Thames Magistrate’s Court yesterday Frederic k William Gordon, a. ; small, goods shopkeeper, was fined £ L and costs £2 16s 6d for selll ig bacon containing a preservative, boric acid. Far reckless driving in the main street, Reyland Edgar Fergusson was fined £1 and costs. For failing to stop when requested to by a cor.stable a v similar penalty was imposed.
Ronald Patterscn drove his motorcar at a greater speed than 28 miles on Hauraki Plains, and was fined £ 3 and costs.
