ANE sister and nineteen chi!dren were burned to death when fire destroyed the Catnoiic Mission at Lac La Plonge, an isolated section of the northern Saskatchewan, 100 miles beyond the end of the- railway. A doctor is speeding in an airplane to the spot. The mission housed 90 Indian children and it had a staff of 21. —A. and N.Z.
