trees; in school grounds “Trees make the place a refuge for hooligans,” said Mr. H. S. W. King at the -Education Board to-day, when a letter from the headmaster of Napier Street school, complaining that damage was done to the school grounds, was received. Mrs. Nellie Ferner reported that outsiders and not school children or members of the Play Association were responsible. It was decided to refer the complaints to the Superintendent of Police.
