RUAKURA STATE FARM
SATISFACTORY SEASON
(From Our Oxen Correspondent) HAMILTON, To-day
The Ruakura State Farm is in good heart now and the pastures are more forward than for the past three years. Sheep are in condition, notwithstanding the wet season and losses have been very slight. Lambing results have been good, but stocktaking will not be completed for a week.
All stock bears a good appearance and 100 cows will be brought into milk this year. About 120 to 130 acres will be under the plough by the middle of December, when sowing operations will finish.
