WAIKATO HUNT

MEET AT TAURANGy* The final meet of the Waikato Hounds was held on Friday at Otumoetai. Once again beautiful weather prevailed and there was a large following. Excellent sport was obtainable, a number of hares being started and the hounds working well. Afternoon tea was provided for all and visitors were loud in their praise ol : the hospitality extended to them throughout the week. On Monday night a private dance was given by Mr. and Mrs. Fergus Boyd and on Thursday night there was a public ball.
