LAUNCH AND TWO MEN MESSING

SEARCH IN COOK STRAIT (Special to Til E SUN.) WELLINGTON, Sunday. No trace has yet been found of the two fishermen. Jack Tyree and Albert Larsen, who left Island Bay in a launch last Thursday. It was expected the missing men would return to Island Bay the same night. They took only light refreshment with them. Several search-par-ties comprising the whole of the Island Bay Fishing Fleet have been out over the week-end, but litle hope is entertained l’of* the safety of the men. The search has been carried as far as Picton Sound, and further efforts to locate the men will be made tomorrow. A strong southerly• wind has been blowing across Cook Strait for the last few days.
