Blenheim Pioneer Dead.—The death is reported from Blenheim of John Barry, one of the town’s most respected

citizens, after a three months’ illness. He was a native of County Cork, Ireland, and came to New Zealand over 50 years ago. For the last 28 years he had been licensee of the Marlborough Hotel.—Press Association.
