FOSTER SAILS FOR ENGLAND IN RUAHINE
TO FACE MAIL ROBBERY CHARGE THERE was no trouble in proA viding for the passage of Joseph Foster on the Ruahine today. Foster Is being taken to England to fa:e a charge of being involved in the £IO,OOO Cardiff-London mail robbery, which occurred on February 2. It was stated yesterday that some difficulty was being experienced in arranging for Foster's transport, but this was njt so. This morning he was taken o the Ruahine by the Auckland Police and handed to the captain of the ship, in whose charge he will be (or the journey. No escort was sent from England and nc New Zealand police are being sent with the man. The authority committing the prisoner to the charge ot the captain of a ship is signed by the Sovernor-General and the Minister °t Jus ice.
