TUESDAY’S CONCERT Pleasing variety to suit all tastes Is a feature of the programme to be given by the Aeolian Orchestra at its concert at the Town Hall concert chamber on Tuesday evening. This is the third concert of the orchestra’s sixth season. Improvements have been registered at all concerts during the past few years and it is anticipated that another successful fixture will eventuate on Tuesday. The orchestral programme includes "Ent'racte No. 2,” from “Rosamunde” (Schubert), ‘Blue Danube" (Strauss), ballet music “Coppelia” (Delibes), Symphony No. 6, “The Surprise” (Haydn), “Valse des Fleurs” (Tschaikowsky), and “Poet and Peasant” (Suppe). Miss Cecelia Duncan will sing “The Dawn Has a Song” (Phillips) and “Sing, Break Into Song” (Mallinson), and Mr. Duncan Black “The Blacksmith” (Slater) and “The Border Ballad” (Cowan).
The box plan is at the E. and F. Piano Agency, Queen Street.
