LOAN FOR WATERFRONT ROADWAY APPROVED BY CITY COUNCIL The formal motion necessary for the raising of the £IOO,OOO loan for the waterfront roadway, was passed by the City Council last evening. The currency of the loan is fixed at 33 years, interest to be at the rate of 5J per cent., and the loan will be issued and sold at £99 10s, interest payable in London. Security is a rate of |d in the pound.
