It wa:. stated that approxi'mately £30,000 was being spent on rooms for only 37 guests. A resolution was carried to the effect that the Minister in charge be written to expressing surprise and regret at the relatively small number of guests that would be accommodated at Waitomo for the large expenditure, and that for another £7,000 or £B,OOO the accommodation could be doubled.
