MISSING MAN

FEARS FOR SAFETY DID NOT GO TO HOSPITAL CINCE Monday week a mlddleaged man named Pollock has been missing and inquiries are being made for him. Mr. Pollock had been staying at the People's Palace In Upper Queen Street. He left there to go into the public hospital, but as he left hat institution after paying a call fears are entertained for his safety. The missing man s luggage and possessions were left at the People s Palace, addressed to Mr. Pollock’s brother at Waihi. Mr. Pollock came to Auckland from Gisborne. About 14 months ago he was very badly gored by a bull and has been ill ever since. He was at one time in the detective force, stationed at New Plymouth.
