An accident to a Bristol fighter at Hinaidi resulted in the death of Wing-Commander Arthur Gaskell and Aircraftsman William Kittow Robtirts. —A. and N.Z. The Air Ministry announces that the wreckage found at New Quay the other day was part of an engineless glider attached to the tail of an airplane left in the air and used as a target for gunfire.—A. and N.Z.-Sun, TRIP ROUND WORLD AIRMEN ALTER FLANS TOKYO, Thurs. The American airmen, Messrs. William Brock and Edward Schlee have decided to return to the Pacific Coast of the United States by steamer. This change in their plans is due to pressure from friends, who have urged them not to attempt the ocean flight. It is partly due also to the failure of supplies to arrive at the Pacific Islands where they proposed to land en route to America.—A. and N.Z.
