ATTRACTING TOURISTS

COMMUNITY LEAGUE ACTIVE A meeting of the Dominion Executive of the Community Tourist League was held at tire headquarters, Lister Buildings, yesterday afternoon. Mr. J. R. Robertson occupied the chair in the absence of Mr. H. R. McKenzie. A special report was made by Australian commissioners upon the necessity of expanding the mass tourist trade of the Commonwealth. A sub-committee was appointed to immediately prepare a special report on general tourist activities for presentation to the Government. The organising secretary presented a report from the publicity committee advising the necessity of additional propaganda in Australia and overseas.
