MOTORISTS PAY PRICE MANY CASES HEARD Offenders against city and borough council by-laws were dealt with by Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., to-day. For leaving cars unattended, Sydney James Hayden, Ralph William Russell, Albert Edward Canham, Spencer Lamb, Leslie Sterricker and Hugh Webber were each fined 10s and costs. For dangerous driving Hilda Margaret Northcroft was fined 20s, David Henry 40s, Eustace Gary 40s, and Arthur Porter £4. For driving past a stationary tram Leonard V. Winks was fined 20s. POLICE CASES For parking faults S. D. Russell, H Saunders, H. T. Shepherd and F. K. Stratton were each fined 10s. J. C. Robinson and W. J. Smeeton, for similar offences, were each fined For motoring at night without lights W. A. Gray, I. T. Francis, J. Gust and J. H. S. Strange were each fined 10s. G. H. C. Wrightson and J. H. S. Strange were each fined £2. The following speeders were each fined £2:—D. C. Clark. J. T. Mills, A. Mcßae, K. A. North, H. S. Spurr V. C. Vercoe. C. A. Turner, C. W. Traners and P. J. Williams.
E. H. Browne and F. O. Crosby were each fined £3.
