FIREMEN’S SMOKE CONCERT

TWO MEN TO STAY ON DUTY As there is to be a smoke concert on Saturday evening for firemen. Cr. L. Joll, at the meeting of the Mount Helen Borough Council last evening asked that two permanent men be requested to remain at the station. He stated that the concert was being heid some distance from the station, and it was in the interests of the residents of Mount Eden that there be two capable men in charge. It was decided to request two of the permanent staff to remain on duty on the night in question.
