WAIKATO Y AUCKLAND The management committee have decided to invite the "Waikato School representatives to play the return match against the Auckland boys on Saturday, September 24, as a curtainraiser to che North v. South match on Carlaw Park. A few weeks back the Auckland boys journeyed to Taupiri to meet .he Waikato representatives, when the city boys were victorious after an enjoyable and instructive game. The visitors were most hospitably entertained The result of Saturday’s knock-out competition was as follows: Newmarket B 3, Richmond 0; Onehunga Convent 6, Onehunga School 0. The Otahuhu and Papatoetoe teams received a message to the effect that the matches were off -owing to the weather. This will be dealt with at Wednesday’s meeting.
