SEQUENCE OF COLLISIONS
FOUR CARS DAMAGED YOUNG WOMAN INJURED (.Special to THE SUN.) CHRISTCHURCH, Sunday. In an unusual sequence of collisions four motor-cars were damaged and a young woman, Miss Phyllis Dunkley. of Spreydori, was badly bruised yesterA motor-car coming along Upper Lincoln Road struck another car coming out -.f Hanson’s Road. The second car was thrown out of its course, and struck :i third car, which was parked on the side of the road. This car, in turn, was thrown up against a fourth car, which struck Miss Dunkley who had been standing at the side of the road watching the concluding stage of the Timartt to Christchurch road cycle race. .Miss Dunkley .■.as hurled violently against a fence.
