HIGH SCHOOL WINS CHAMPIONSHIP (From Our Own Correspondent) WHANGAREI, To-day. With the conclusion of the ladies’ hockey competitions in Whangarei, High School A team emerges the winner of the championship with 18 points. Maungukaramea is second on the list with I t points. Old Girls 13. Avoca 8, High School B 7 and High School C nil Of the ten matches played. High School A won eight and drew in two, Maungukaramea won seven and lost three, Old Girls won six, lost three and dre w in one, Avoca won three, drew in two and lost five, High School B won three, drew in one and lost six, while the C. team did not secure a win at all.
