MEETING AT GLEN EDEN The member for Eden, Mr. H. G. R. Mason, M.P., believes in regular visits to the numerous districts of his constituency. His latest trip—this time in company with Mr. A. S. Richards, who contested the Marsden seat in the interests of Labour at the last election —was to Glen Eden. There he addressed members of the Glen Eden branch on the work and difficulties of the Labour Party in Parliament. Mr. Richards followed with an address on "The Socialisation of Industry, and Why.' Luring the evening items were rendered by Miss Vera Ivindley, monologue, and Mr. Sheldon Ivindley, a ventriloquial turn. The funds of the branch were substantially- increased as the result of a collection taken up among those present.
