LATE SHIPPING
NIAGARA FROM VANCOUVER.— Dropping anchor in the stream at Auckland at 12.25 p.m , the Union Company's R.M.S. Niagara was granted pratique and berthed at the Prince’s Wharf at 2 p. m. to land her passengers, mails and cargo. The vessel left Vancouver on August 24 and experienced good weather until yesterday when she ran into a strong southwesterly gale and head seas.
