CYCLING AT WHANGAREI
ANNUAL MEETING HELD (From Our Oxen Correspondent.) WI-lANG AREI, To-day. At the annual meeting of the Wliangarei Cycling Club, held last evening, Mr. A. Weir presided, and there was a large attendance of members. Officers were elected as follows: Patron, Mr. W. Jones, M.P.; presidents, Messrs. C. H. Chissell and the Mayor, Mr. L. J. Brake; vice-presidents, Messrs. T. Massey, B. Bray, H. Hannam, W. Slade Clarke, and J. Young; executive committee, Mr. Weir, jun. (chairman), Messrs. B. Weir, W. Stewart, S. Hoey, G. Postlewalte, H. Preebe; secretary and treasurer, Mr. C. Chissell: judge, Mr. A. Weir; timekeeper, Mr. Hannam; handicapper, Mr. Slade Clarke.
The first race will be held on the last Saturday of the present month, conditions permitting.
