A.A.A. ACTIVITIES
A meeting; of the Rotorua members was held last week, addressed by Mr. F. G. Farrell and Mr. R. E. Champtaloup. Mr. Farrell explained the reason for their trip through the Rotorua district, and Mr. Champtaloup gave a short talk on traffic rules. The service officer left Auckland today to attend the adjourned annual meeting of the Hamilton branch, which is being held this evening. Immediately after the meeting he will leave for Napier, arriving there about mid-day to-morrow. The remainder of the week will be spent on the eastern portions of the Hawke’s Bay and Wairarapa districts, including such out-of-the-way places as Cape Turnagain, Castle Point and Palliser Bay. It is hoped to reach "Wellington on Monday, and return to Auckland via Taranaki.
