MORRINSVILLE PROGRESS
BUSINESSMEN ACTIVE Much interest is being shown in the business progress of Morrinsville and the attendance at the last meeting of the Chamber of Commerce was most encouraging. The interest of the Farmers’ Union is also to be sought to ensure continued efforts at progress. To make the town more attractive a scheme of community lighting was discussed, and the Thames Valley Power Board is to be consulted on the matter. The borough council is to be asked to negotiate for the acquisition of a piece of ground on the banks of the Tohehahae stream for scenic purposes.
