SACCO AND VANZETTI
SCANDALS IN AMERICA DEFENCE MONEY MISSED By Cable. — Press Association.—• Copyright BOSTON, Tuesday. Mr. Albino Felicani, who organised the Sacco-Vanzet defence Committee, has accused the Communists of America of being more concerned with spreading propaganda than with aiding the accused men. He stated that donations had been collected by various Communistic agencies in America which were far in excess of the amount eventually given to the Defence Commitee. Mr. Felicani says he intends to ask for a statement from the International Labour Defence Committee and the New York Sacco-Vanzetti Emergency Committee, both Communistic organisations. It is stated that the total amount received by the Defence Committee in Boston was £70,000, against a reported total of £IOO,OOO. It is said that a reported donation of £2OO from the Third International as a gift from Moscow was never received.— A. and N.Z.
