NORTHERN STOCK VALUES
The North Auckland Farmers’ Co-op., Ltd. report: At Maungakaramea yesterday we held a special beef sale; 170 head were yarded and all grades met with spirited competition. Buyers were present from all parts of the district Prices realised were: A line of bullocks from Hayward Bros, realised £lO l<s to £ll 7s* heifers from the same vendors, £a 17s 6d; Lamb Bros, bullocks. £lO to -11: 1 Lamb light bullocks, £9. A line of sieved cows were yarded on account of O’Shea Bros., and sold readily from £5 10s, £7, to £S 2a.
