NEW ZEALANDERS’ SUCCESS
SURGEONS’ EXAMINATION Dr. A. W. Blomfield, son of Mr. W. Blomfield, of Takapuna, has been successful in passing the examination for Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Dr. Blomfield gained the second place, being beaten for the first position in the examination by five marks in 600. Of the 25 who passed the examination five were New Zealanders. Dr. Martin, of Wellington, was third. A pupil of King’s College, Dr. Blomfield continued his studies at Otago University, and for the past five years has been studying in England, specialising in ear, nose and throat troubles.
