BOOKSELLERS MEET
COLLECTIVE ADVERTISING A report on the Dominion conference of retail booksellers was presented at the annual meeting of the Auckland Retail Booksellers’ Association held yesterday. The report showed that the work of the association had been forwarded satisfactorily and the conference, which had been held in Auckland had been very successful. As a result of the usual collective advertising scheme which had been undertaken at Christmas the trade had benefited greatly. The president, Mr. J. W. Kealy, and the secretary, Mr. L. C. H. Dawson, A.A.1.5., were re-elected. Messrs. W. Arey, H. J. Hdmiston, A. J. Harding, R. Utting and J. Walker were chosen as the executive.
