SATISFACTORY CLEARANCES By Cable. —Press Association. —Copyright SYDNEY. Monday. The first wool sales of the 1927-28 series in Sydney commenced to-day. Competition was strong and well sustained. Compared with the values which ruled at the June sales, the market advanced 5 per cent, for best lines of fleece and skirtings, also for lambs’ wool and weaners. Other descriptions were unchanged. Very full and satisfactorv clearances were made. Greasy Merino sold to 29d. —A. and N.Z.
