EXPERIMENTING IN RADIO TELEPHONY

MARCONTS TESTS SOUTH AMERICA FIRST By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright LONDON, Sunday. “The Evening News” reports a Marconi official as saying that the beam telephonic experiments, at present impossible as the stations belong to the Post Office, will be undertaken by the South American beam stations. The official believed that Empire telephony will not necessitate more beam stations, as certain wave lengths, several of which are useable simultaneously, could be devoted to telephony.—A. and N.Z.
