MATCH AT PAEROA The Thames v. Paeroa ladies’ match on Saturday resulted in Thames defeating Paeroa by 3 goals to 2 in one of the fastest games seen at Paeroa this season. The first half saw the score one all, Miss P. Boyle scoring for Thames and Miss A. Morland for Paeroa. After time the Paeroa forwards took play into their opponents’ territory and Miss K. Ellis drove powerfully into the net. The game continued to be fast and open. Miss J. Willetts scored a good goal for Thames and Miss P. Boyle scored a second goal for Paeroa. The game ended: Thames 3 Paeroa 2
