£7,000 FOR UNEMPLOYED
NEGOTIATIONS COMPLETED Auckland negotiations for £ 3,500, to be spent on museum approaches, giving relief for unemployed, have been completed, the War Memorial Museum Fund finding £2,500 and the Returned Soldiers’ Association £I,OOO. The City Council has applied to the Government for its £3,500 subsidy, and all arrangements for the work to start having; been completed, employment at the reduced rates of 12s and 9s will be available as soon as the Government reply is received.
