New Zealand was continued the New Zealanders lost seven wickets in an hour for 53. R. Rought took full advantage of the drying pitch. Dacre, who was over anxious to complete his century, was bowled by a full-toss after having batted LlO minutes. He had hit three sixes and five fours. The partnership for the fourth wicket had yielded 169. Blunt was batting three hours and hit 10 fours. Norfolk’s batting in the second innings was feeble until Falcon and Nichols became associated.
