A FANCY DRESS BALL

A most successful function in connection with the Anglican Church, Otorohanga. was the children’s fancy dress ball, at which about 400 children and adults were present. The prize-winners were: Ernest Sanders, cave man: Gwen Morley bird-cage: Mavis •Grey. sleepless nights; Peter Bell, sundowner; Brian Alexander, woodland nymph; Doris George, summer; Russell Sanson, Indian rajah; Peggy Pye, early Victorian: Bobby Bell, black cat; Joyce Veale, Hawaiian girl. Mr. C. R. Taylor was master of ceremonies.
