BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION An organisation which is doing good work without asking fo.r undue publicity is the “Happy Flour Classes” at Avondale. Its influence is exerted most among the girls, the power behind the throne being the organiser, Mrs. Chamberlain. To celebrate its second anniversary a tea followed by a concert was recently given, the guests being made the recipients of - o Piece of birthday cake specially made for the occasion.
