MANAWARU RECORD

TE AROHA CLAIMS HONOUR The Te Aroha. people were sorely vexed when a city paper in reporting tlie celebration of the great herd-test-ing record put up by the Manawaru group last season associated Manawaru with Hamilton, thus depriving Te Aroha of the honour to which it was entitled as the nearest town. It seems as if there is a conspiracy to perpetuate the blunder, for now a Timaru paper has published a statement that the great record was put up by a Manawaiu group.
